BROOKLYN (VINnews) — As previously reported by VINnews, a kosher café located on the outer perimeter of Brooklyn’s red zone has been inundated with both communal support and customers after being slapped with a violation notice from a city inspector despite being open for takeout only.
On Wednesday evening, the cafe owner was interviewed by Tucker Carlson on Fox News.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, Councilman Chaim Deutsch announced on Twitter that the summons had been removed. The cafe owner expressed his gratitude to the councilman for his role in getting the violation removed.
Very pleased to report that the summons that had been issued to @Mixed_Greens_NY has been REMOVED. Thank you to all the supporters, to @Pinnyringel, & to the owners of Mixed Greens for their courage.
